All right. Go ahead and laugh. What on earth is a guy in middle school doing playing Pokemon? I'll tell you what. Having fun. Pokemon is one of the most fun RPGs (dodges tomatoes "look guys, I haven't played many!") I've played. Most games you get four-seven different characters, each with their own skills. Pokemon has 150 of 'em. And, contrary to advertising, Pokemon isn't just a "little kids game" - far from it, it has enough action to suit myself, a semi-serious gamer. If there's one major, let me repeat, MAJOR flaw, it's the fact that the game has enough plot to fit on the head of a pin. End of story. The plot stinks.
Then, there's the TCG (The Card Game). A great game that has both simplicity and complexity. M: TG is a great game, but this one's easier to pick up and play. Beside, in my area, M: TG cards are hard to find (grrr...), whereas Pokémon cards are readily avaliable at Books-a-Million, Borders, you name it, they've got it.
Enough of my senseless chatter, on to the pages ... hold on a sec there speedy, all of these links, apart from TCG, lead to Nowheresville right now. Expect them to be up in a few days.
